  1. College of Engineering Pune(COEP), est. 1854, is the 3rd oldest college in Asia. It is ranked amongst the top 20 technical colleges inIndia. Studies here incorporate research, support of the industry and link with foreign universities.
  2. Vishwarkarma Institute of Technology is an autonomous institute that offers B.Tech, M.Tech, M.C.A and doctoral degree. The college has good record of the campus placements. It has student exchange programs in collaboration with institutes from France and Thailand.
  3. AISSMS’s College of Engineering is a private college affiliated to University of Pune. It is run by All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society. It has 8 branches of engineering.
  4. Pune Institute of Computer Technology. The computer and IT branches of the institute are much sought after in Pune
  5. MKSSS Cummins College of Engineering is the only girls college in Pune.It is progressive in educating women. The college has a separate placement cell and a good infrastructure.
