NEET UG 2013: Correction of Application forms

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG), 2013 is to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in All Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Government of India.

The CBSE in a notice has given the opportunity for the aspirants to admissions in medical/dental programmes in the various medical colleges of the country to rectify any mistakes made in the personal particular in the online application form submitted.

Candidates of NEET-UG 2013 can avail a ONE TIME OPPORTUNITY to correct personal particulars in the On-line Application submitted by them on the website.

Note: Correction in City of Centre/Choice of Seats/Questions Paper Medium/Category/Nationality are not allowed.

After Correction:

  1. Print the correction slip and retain the same for reference and record.
  2. Candidates are not required to correspond with CBSE for the same.

Receipt status:
Status of receipt of Confirmation Page of Applications in the CBSE can also be viewed on-line on the website

Important dates:
Availability of the correction: February 1, 2013 to February 28, 2013.
Status of Confirmation page: from January 15, 2013 onwards

Simultaneously, CBSE has released the exam pattern for the NEET UG 2013.

Total no of Questions: 180
Pattern: Objective type with a correct answer from multiple choice of  four options each
Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) with 45 questions from each subject
Mode of exam: Offline
Type of Paper: specially designed machine-gradable sheet  Blue/Black Ball Point Pen only
